The medieval walled town of Óbidos, is a delightful place to visit. There are many things to do in Óbidos, and the town has a long and illustrious history dating back more than 2,000 years. Óbidos was a wedding present from a Portuguese King to his Queen. That´s why Óbidos is often referred as the Vila das Rainhas, or “Town of the Queens”.
